"Arthur...King of the Britons..."
Of course it's cloudy and cool when we don't plan hiking...
This was our day to just drive around and enjoy the sights.

Erosional, isn't it.
These cliffs can be found in the Lamar River Valley.

[insert inspirational message here]
Tower Falls; a peaceful little waterfall where you can just relax for a few.

Imagine this place covered in lava..... wow.
Columnar joining seen from the Tower Falls area.

You can't capture the grandeur of it in a picture.
On our side of the street you can see them close up.

Don't stick your arm in there!!!
Some petrified trees are so dangerous, they have to be locked up!

What do pines learn in school... Geome-tree!
The burned forest makes way for new growth.

I'll bet it tastes like chicken.
Trumpeter swans are a rare but beautiful sight. This was a solitary swan in Floating Island Lake.

It was a take-off fake-out.
Thought she'd fly away but was only stretching her wings a little.

Reminds me of the keys in "Harry Potter"
Hundreds of blue dragonflys swarmed like a low fog over the water.

Looks like snow, but it'snot.
Back at Mammoth Hot Springs.

That would make for a nice warm shower.
The water squirting out sideways from the side of the mountain wasn't there in 2002 when we were last here.
